We often want a lot of things in life that are beyond our reach, knowing they are unattainable. We also start despising the ones that are denied us. The Fox and The Grapes (Aesop's Fables) focuses on this aspect of the human behavior. It's about a fox who wants to quench his thirst by getting hold of some grapes which were hanging from a lofty branch. He runs and jumps a number of times to catch those grapes but without any success. at last, he gives up and with a tone of arrogance makes a statement that the grapes must be sour.
